Las Colinas Medical Center (LCMC) is pleased to announce the completion of the expansion of its Post-Partum Unit.  The expansion includes the addition of ten more rooms, one of which is a VIP suite, for post-partum mothers.

All rooms are private and spacious with approximately 300 square feet, giving families plenty of room to enjoy their new addition.  The rooms are furnished with a glider for rocking the baby, as well as a sofa-sleeper for Dad. The rooms have beautiful hardwood flooring and are decorated with a contemporary flair.  Wireless Internet access is available throughout the unit.      

The VIP suite is approximately 700 square feet and includes amenities such as a kitchenette, a large flat screen television in the general seating area, and a private bed for the father.  The mother’s room is separate from the living area and has its own flat-screen television.   Frosted glass doors close the space between the two rooms for extra privacy and quiet rest.  An expanded bathroom with a spa-like atmosphere ensures plenty of luxurious space with frosted glass shower stalls, marble counter space, and modern hardware, including a bidet.
